How do I register as an independent delegate?

Registering as an independent delegate allow students to attend conferences that are NOT sponsored by LHSMUN. Visit the conference website to find more details. If you have questions, contact lynbrookmun@gmail.com or lynbrook.mun Instagram.

Local Conferences

  • Tri-MUN is a conference hosted by Dougherty Valley High School. It is located less than an hour from Lynbrook.

  • Register here. It closes on October 30th, 2024. Delegate fees are $20.

  • BAMUN is a conference hosted at Sequoia High School. Applications to chair are also open.

Travel Conferences

  • BruinMUN, hosted at UCLA, is one of the top Model UN conferences for high school students in the country. Each Fall, nearly 1,500 students join us on UCLA’s beautiful campus for a weekend of vigorous debate and new connections.

  • Register here and closes on November 2nd, 2024. Delegate fees range from $75 to $80.

  • MUNUC’s annual conference in downtown Chicago ranks as one of the best in the world, attracting over 3,000 students from across the United States and around the world. The conference will be hosted by UChicago undergraduate students.

  • Register here and parents must act as an "advisor" for independent delegates. Delegate fees range from $85 to $110.

YMUN

  • Yale Model United Nations is a four-day international relations simulation for high school students, held on Yale University’s campus in New Haven.

  • Register here and closes on December 10th, 2024. Delegate fees are $90. Discounted hotel rates provided.

  • The oldest, largest, and most prestigious Model UN conference for high school students will be held in person at the Boston Sheraton and Marriott Hotels, hosted by students from Harvard College.

  • Register here and closes on November 1st, 2024. Delegate fees range from $1oo to $110. Financial aid is offered.

  • Boston University Model United Nations Conference, or BosMUN, is a three-day simulation of the United Nations hosted by Boston University for high school students. BosMUN XXIV will be held in the Marriott Copley.

  • Register here by January 31st. Delegate fees range from $85 to $100.

  • The Cornell Model United Nations Conference (CMUNC) is an annual high school model UN conference hosted by the Cornell International Affairs Society (CIAS) at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Today the conference is proud to host over six hundred fifty students annually.

  • Register here by February 22nd. Delegate fees range from $75 to $95.
